Job summary

Savista is seeking a Supervisor of Patient Eligibility in the Dallas region. The role leads eligibility operations, balancing patient screenings with team leadership to ensure accurate and timely Medicaid/Medicare assistance processing.

On-site duties span multiple facilities with remote support as needed. Candidates should have 5+ years in eligibility or related fields and 2+ years in people management, plus bilingual English/Spanish skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
• Proficient in English and Spanish preferred.
• At least 5 years in healthcare eligibility, financial counseling, or case management roles.
• At least 2 years in people management overseeing teams of 5–10 people.
• Familiarity with state and federal assistance programs such as Texas Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security Disability.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams; strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary operational leader for a major client across regions, managing $600k+ annual revenue.
• Own day-to-day client relationships, SLAs, quality standards, and performance expectations.
• Prepare, review, and present weekly client meetings and provide operational input on results.
• Proactively identify service risks, barriers, and performance gaps with internal workflows; provide feedback to leadership.
• Act as escalation point for complex cases; coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Partner with hospital leadership, government agencies, and other departments to ensure seamless processes.
• Travel regularly to assigned facilities for timely and efficient support across locations.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Maintain an individual contributor caseload; conduct patient screenings for eligibility.
