Job summary

Cesar-Chavez-Foundation in Garden Grove, CA, seeks a Bilingual (Spanish) Elementary After School Instructional Aide to support teachers in a K-6th grade Heritage program. Lessons are provided by Engaging Hearts & Minds and sessions are in person.

Programs run Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM - 5:45 PM, starting in September. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and able to engage students while maintaining a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in grades K-6th.
• Experience teaching literacy and providing accommodations to ensure student success.
• Experience engaging and motivating students in a classroom.

Responsibilities

• Implement Engaging Hearts & Minds lesson plans, schedule, and calendars.
• Support teachers in instructing K-6th grade students in-person after school.
• Maintain instructional space and materials to support a positive learning environment.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate program activities and trends.
• Track and submit data and reporting in a timely manner.
