Job summary

Garden Grove Unified School District seeks instructional aides to support student learning in K–12 settings, under the supervision of teachers. The role involves working with students in small groups or individually to reinforce lessons and ensure a safe, productive classroom environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and some experience with youth; a related associate degree is desirable, with ESSA requirements met through one of three acceptable paths.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and some experience with young people required.
• Associate’s degree or 48 college units or ESSA-exam option acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Support student instruction in small groups or one-on-one as directed by teacher.
• Implement curriculum and learning activities as directed.
• Provide feedback on student progress and assist with grading.
