Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a Craft Instructor to develop and deliver high-quality electrical craft training across active construction sites.

You will assess skill levels, design targeted curricula, and deliver hands-on instruction in collaboration with operations leadership and experienced craft professionals. Ideal candidates bring journeyman-level electrical experience, passion for teaching, and strong facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

Assess commercial/industrial electrical craft skills and development needs across operations.
Facilitate hands-on craft assessments to identify training needs.
Design, develop, and deliver skills-based electrical training aligned to company goals.
Support apprenticeship and career pathway programs.
Deliver training using adult-learning principles and field-appropriate methods.
Plan and coordinate training content, schedules, logistics, and materials.
Evaluate effectiveness of craft education and apprenticeship programs.
Visit job sites and collaborate with project teams to tailor training.
