Job summary

Child Crisis Arizona in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Early Head Start Teacher I to assist in our Early Education Services Department. You will support the Teacher II in a small group setting of eight children, fostering a safe, engaging environment with play-based learning.

Requirements include bilingual Spanish/English capabilities, a CDA or equivalent credential, and a related-one-year experience. An Associate Degree in Early Childhood with infant/toddler focus or equivalent training plus 480 hours

Qualifications

• Spanish/English bilingual required.
• CDA or equivalent credential.
• 1 year related experience in early education.
• Associate degree with 12 credits in infant/toddler development or related field with 480 hours 0-3 experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Teacher II in a classroom for eight children.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized learning environment.
• Encourage exploration through guided play and routines.
