Job summary

Child Crisis Arizona in Phoenix is hiring a Home Visitor for the Early Head Start program. You will provide direct in-home services weekly to enrolled families, using an evidence-based curriculum to strengthen parent-child bonds, enhance parenting skills and support developmental goals.

The role emphasizes goal setting, resource provision, and promoting family self-sufficiency to set children up for future success.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work or related field.
• 1+ year of related experience in infant/toddler education and/or family case management.
• Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A personal vehicle required for daily use for travel to families’ homes.
• A clean five-year motor vehicle history and a valid Arizona Driver’s license.
• A level one fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
• English/Spanish capabilities required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct home visiting services to enrolled families on a weekly basis.
• Use evidence-based curriculum to improve parent-child bonding, discipline techniques, and child development.
• Collaborate with families to set goals and connect resources to support the family as a whole.
• Promote family self-sufficiency and child preparation for future success.
