Job summary

Child Crisis Arizona in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Early Head Start Teacher I to assist in our Early Education Services Department. You will support the Teacher II in a small group setting of eight children, fostering a safe, engaging environment with play-based learning.

Requirements include bilingual Spanish/English capabilities, a CDA or equivalent credential, and a related-one-year experience. An Associate Degree in Early Childhood with infant/toddler focus or equivalent training plus 480 hours

Our mission is to provide children and youth in Arizona a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect by creating strong and successful families.Our Early Head Start programs are ready to hire Teacher I’s to join the team in our Early Education Services Department.We are looking for compassionate, energetic, and dependable individuals that are committed to build a classroom of learning for children receiving services.In this role, you will spend most of your time providing support to the Teacher II in a fun, positive classroom setting providing a safe and secure environment to eight children. Play will guide your day as you create an energetic classroom filled with activities that meet the needs of children’s interests and differing skills. You will encourage responsibility, independence, and problem solve through open-ended questions while maintaining a clean and organized classroom through guidance of your Teacher II.
