CSL in Las Vegas is seeking a donor center technician to prepare the autopheresis machine for pheresis and ready the donor area and equipment for the procedure. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and ensure the donor flow runs smoothly.

The role involves monitoring the pheresis process, responding to alarms, and disconnecting the donor when finished. You will record incidents using the PDA and maintain donor data per SOPs, while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math calculations.

Responsabilités

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and pheresis process and responds to alarms or signals.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains alertness to donor reactions during or after pheresis and notifies staff.
• Uses PDA to record incidents during the pheresis process and link equipment to the appropriate donor.
• Links equipment and soft goods used in the pheresis process to the donor in the donor information system per SOPs.
• Alerts Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Maintains accurate donor data in the electronic donor information management system as per SOPs.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and ensures adequate supplies; follows HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required, at the organization’s discretion.
