Job summary

CSL is seeking a detail-oriented technician to prepare pheresis equipment and monitor donors during pheresis procedures. You will use a PDA to document incidents, alarms, and donor data while ensuring accurate linkage of equipment to each donor.

The role requires basic math, adherence to safety policies, and confidentiality of donor information. Some duties may involve cross-training and potential bilingual requirements to meet center needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent
• Basic math calculations are required
• Bilingual skills may be required at organizational discretion

Responsibilities

• Prepare autopheresis machine for pheresis process
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals
• Disconnect donor when process is complete
• Record incidents and donor data using PDA and link equipment to donor
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies
• Maintain donor confidentiality and assist with cross-training as needed
