CSL is seeking a Donor Pheresis Technician in Winston-Salem, NC, to prepare donors and equipment for pheresis procedures and monitor the process for safety and accuracy. You will document incidents and donor data using the PDA, and coordinate with the team to maintain a compliant, clean work area in accordance with SOPs.

The role requires at least three months of medical environment experience, a high school diploma, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities.

Formación

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in medical or health provider environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Stay alert for donor reactions during or after pheresis and notify staff as needed.
• Use a PDA to record incidents during pheresis and to link equipment to the donor.
• Link equipment and supplies used in the pheresis process to the correct donor in the system.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor to donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate donor data entry in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Understand policies for hyper immune programs where applicable.
• Maintain a clean, efficient work area and stock supplies; follow HSE and OSHA policies.
• Maintain donor, personnel and center information confidentiality.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
• Bilingual skills may be required at organizational discretion.
