Job summary

The New York Milk Bank, Inc. is seeking a Donor Milk Coordinator who is bilingual (English/Spanish) for a part-time, on-site role in Valhalla, NY. The position supports donor screening, record-keeping, and coordination of donor materials for milk collection sites, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service abilities with applicable work experience such as customer service or patient care representative
• College-level education preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to follow established protocols with significant attention to detail
• Possess planning and time management skills
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (willing to train)
• Act in a professional manner
• Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Screening potential milk donors via telephone
• Keeping donor records up to date, including emailing and faxing
• Greeting milk donors when they drop off milk at the milk bank
• Learning, understanding, and applying donor guidelines
• Keeping track of supplies
• Receiving and recording milk donations
• Other duties as assigned
