The HealthCare Connection is seeking a Dental Patient Services Specialist for Lincoln Heights Health Center. You will greet patients, register them, verify demographics and insurance, and collect payments, ensuring a smooth patient experience.

This role requires strong communication, multitasking, and familiarity with EHR systems. A bilingual candidate who thrives in a fast-paced setting will excel in our health equity mission.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting (front desk, registration, or scheduling roles preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems.
• Familiarity with EHR systems; NextGen experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients upon arrival
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information
• Collect payments and co-pays for services
• Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule appointments
• Assist patients with forms and paperwork
• Work with the Finance department regarding patient balances
• Support administrative and reporting tasks as needed
