Job summary

First Bank (FBNC) seeks a Customer Support Specialist-Bilingual to assist Spanish-speaking and English-speaking customers via phone, email, chat, and secure messages. You will aim for first-call resolution on retail banking inquiries and assist with Online Banking, Mobile Deposit, and Debit Card questions.

The role requires exceptional bilingual communication, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced banking environment while providing service excellence to customers and branch

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish required.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent in a business environment.
Experience in banking/financial services customer support preferred.

Responsibilities

Handle inbound calls, emails, secure messages, and chats for Spanish-speaking and English-speaking customers.
Provide first-call resolution for retail banking inquiries and some commercial inquiries.
Assist with Online Banking, Mobile Deposit, Bill Pay, and Debit Card questions.
Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer to senior specialists when appropriate.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with bank policies and regulations.
