Job summary

Carpenter & Black Smith Furniture, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to communicate with customers, identify needs, process orders, and elevate complaints to provide helpful solutions for a great service experience.

The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, and able to stay calm under pressure. The role emphasizes handling high volumes of calls and emails, using scripts, and meeting personal and team quotas while maintaining excellent data accuracy and order processing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 1+ years of proven experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role
• 1+ years of experience in order processing
• Bilingual English and Spanish
• Comfortable using computers and customer management software
• Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of active listening techniques
• Ability to work well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Review shipping logs and create bills of lading.
• Receive a high volume of inbound calls and emails.
• Identify reasons for customer calls and provide solutions.
• Refer to premade scripts for topics.
• Use best practices to build rapport and relationships with customers.
• Document all customer interactions.
• Meet personal and team quotas.
• Attend trainings to stay up-to-date with skills and knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned
