Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to collaborate with wholesale and retail customers, determine needs, and recommend the right products. You will promptly resolve concerns and help achieve store sales goals, while maintaining high quality and visual standards.

Responsibilities include assisting customers in-person and by phone, processing transactions, stocking displays, tinting and mixing, and supporting deliveries. Strong English and Spanish skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally
• Willing to work evenings and weekends
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have at least a “meets expectations” rating
• Must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses for current position

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas
• Pull products from floor or warehouse as needed
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications
• Stock shelves and set up displays
• Clean store equipment
• Load/unload delivery trucks
• Assist in making deliveries as needed
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss options
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Suggest ways to improve sales
