Job summary

Randstad USA in Burlington, NC is seeking a detail‑oriented Customer Service Representative for a first‑shift role (8 AM–5 PM). You will build product knowledge, nurture customer relationships, and process orders within 24 hours while collaborating with Sales and internal teams.

The position requires at least 5 years of experience in customer service, a High School diploma, and familiarity with ERP/CRM tools such as Netsuite.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service.
• High School diploma required.
• Experience with ERP systems and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain knowledge of customer base products and applications.
• Build and maintain working relationships with customer base.
• Process customer orders in an accurate and timely manner (goal – within 24 hours).
• Learn and maintain working knowledge of customer systems (i.e., EDI, In house systems, matrix, etc.).
• Liaison for customer and Sales Team with internal departments.
• Address / complete all tasks identified in daily production meeting.
• Process quote requests and verify information on quote prior to faxing/emailing to customer.
• Expedite orders when necessary.
• Handle inquiries and/or concerns to resolve discrepancies for external and internal customers.
• Work closely with Sales Team to maintain open communication and update information.
• Coordinate end of life (EOL) on production parts with Customer and appropriate departments.
• Negotiate with internal and external customers to resolve issues/concerns.
• Build and maintain working knowledge ofmanufacturing capabilities.
• Any other duties as assigned.
