Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Linden, NJ. You will be the face of our service team, assisting customers with rentals, inspecting equipment, and guiding them through the process using up-to-date technology to dispatch and return vehicles.

The role requires a valid driver's license and a high school diploma, with on-the-job education and opportunities for advancement. A signing bonus is offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot.
• Educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Complete propane fill and forklift certification as offered.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
