U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in East Orange, NJ to assist customers with U-Haul products and services at the location on 141 Freeway Dr East. You will use U-Scan to manage rentals, move and hook trucks, inspect equipment, answer questions, and upsell hitches and wiring kits.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and adherence to safety and company policies. On-site position with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Sell and schedule hitches and wiring kits.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
