Hayden Pryor Insurance Agency, Inc. in Ashland, VA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the State Farm Agent team. You will support existing customers, explain policies, and assist with changes and questions on insurance products.

The role emphasizes helping people, solving problems, and building relationships on a friendly, fast-paced team. Licenses for Property & Casualty and Life & Health are required or must be obtained; bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and responsive service to existing and prospective customers.
• Answer questions regarding policies, billing, coverage, and account information.
• Assist customers with policy changes, updates, and other service needs.
• Proactively follow up with customers and ensure outstanding items are resolved.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of customer interactions.
• Work with underwriting, claims, billing, and other departments to resolve customer concerns.
• Review customer accounts and identify additional needs or opportunities to better protect the customer.
• Build strong relationships and create an exceptional customer experience with every interaction.
• Collaborate with agency team members to ensure timely and consistent service.
• Ask for referrals and contribute to the continued growth of the agency.
• Note: on-site in Ashland with potential for up to four flexible work-from-home days per month.
