Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist Wholesale and Retail customers, determine needs, and recommend appropriate products. You will resolve concerns promptly and uphold product quality and store standards while supporting sales targets.

Responsibilities include in-person and phone assistance, processing transactions, tinting and mixing products, stocking and displays, and delivering strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English and Spanish.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee: must have a 3 rating and completed HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and according to policy.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull products from floor or warehouse as needed.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
