Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support wholesale and retail customers, determine needs, and present appropriate products and services. The role emphasizes high levels of customer satisfaction and accurate processing of sales transactions while meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.

Responsibilities include stock management, tinting and mixing to customer specifications, and assisting with deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee: must meet expectations rating on last review.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee: must complete HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull products from sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
