Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist customers in person and by phone, determine needs, and present appropriate paint and related products. You will build trust with wholesale and retail customers, process transactions, and support deliveries while achieving sales goals.

The role requires evenings/weekends, strong English and Spanish communication, and a valid driver’s license. High school diploma or GED preferred; prior paint or tinting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have a meets expectations rating (3).
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries as needed.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
