Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist customers in person and over the phone, determine needs, and present suitable products. You will process sales, manage displays, and help achieve sales goals while maintaining product knowledge and a welcoming store environment.

The role requires English and Spanish language abilities, a valid driver’s license, and physical ability to lift weights. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams performance rating requirement and HR Cloud eLearning completion if internal.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
