Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Janitorial Manager in Florida to lead and develop a custodial team across client properties. You will oversee daily operations, coach staff, and ensure cleanliness, safety, and service quality.

Strong leadership, organization, and bilingual Spanish/English skills are highly valued. The role requires 8+ years of janitorial management, experience managing 20+ employees, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of janitorial management experience
• Experience leading a team of 20+ employees
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer relations
• Ability to estimate labor hours and materials
• Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to interpret blueprints and shop drawings
• Commitment to safety and proper use of equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support custodial team to ensure high-quality cleaning tasks
• Evaluate team performance and coach and promote advancement
• Provide training and skill development for new hires
• Promote teamwork and maintain a productive work environment
• Oversee daily operational reporting and address customer concerns
• Ensure shifts are executed effectively and adapt to needs
• Perform cleaning duties to support operations
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and according to specifications
• Monitor safety compliance and report hazards promptly
• Manage administrative tasks including materials orders and timecards
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, and planning
• Demonstrate strong internal customer service and resolve employee concerns
• Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
