Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Janitorial Manager to lead the custodial team and manage daily operations across client properties in Florida. You will supervise staff, ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety, and handle administrative duties while stepping in to perform cleaning tasks as needed.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to coordinate shifts, training, and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant janitorial management experience.
• Experience leading a team of 20+ employees.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with customers, managers, and coworkers.
• Adequate trade knowledge to estimate labor hours, materials, and visualize project requirements.
• Strong planning, organizational, and decision‑making capabilities.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Commitment to safety and the proper use of equipment and cleaning products.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support custodial team members to ensure high‑quality execution of cleaning tasks.
• Oversee daily operational reporting and schedule work assignments to adapt to business needs.
• Monitor safety compliance and maintain a clean, safe work environment across the team.
• Manage departmental administrative tasks including supplies, timecards, and documentation.
• Provide strong internal customer service, address concerns, and balance multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
