Job summary

Kemper is seeking a dedicated bilingual (Spanish/English) customer service professional to assist our clients with questions and changes to their insurance policy. The role is based in McAllen, TX, with hours that align to CST and a training period of 6 to 8 weeks.

You will be the primary contact for insureds, agents, and lien holders, delivering superior service within company guidelines while reviewing policy information and applying underwriting standards as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
6 months previous customer service experience required.
Fluent Spanish/English communication preferred, pleasant telephone demeanor, and multitasking skills required.
PC experience with 3,000 KSH or 25 WPM with an error ratio of less than 5% required.
Successfully completes all required new hire training as per Departmental guidelines.
This position requires working in the McAllen, TX office location.

Responsibilities

Review policy information to determine if risk meets underwriting guidelines.
Serve as primary contact for insureds, agents, and lien holders for policy inquiries.
Provide superior customer service and offer solutions within company guidelines.
This role may periodically attend office-based training or meetings as needed.
