Job description

The Recruiter provides support to the Recruiting and HR team, helping ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process. This role focuses on coordinating interviews, maintaining candidate communication, and supporting basic recruiting activities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Upholds and promotes the Thompson Mission, Vision, and Values
• Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment and onboarding process
• Manages all recruiting for Foundations Lockbourne Ohio location and travels to Columbus one a day week to ensure top quality candidate experience
• Manages all pre-employment processes such as offer letters, drug screens, and background checks, and new hire packets
• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting and onboarding methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
• Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
• Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
• Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
• Assists with the interview process
• Collaborates with human resource staff and leadership during the offer process, identifying salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
• Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience:

• 3+ years recruiting experience
• Valid driver’s license or State ID

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull 50-pound loads at a time
• Must be able to ride in a car for long periods of time
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
