Job summary

Frederick Fox is seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Bookkeeper to support accounting and operations for our construction-focused organization in Delray Beach, FL. The role covers AIA billing, invoicing, AP/AR, reconciliations, and job costing across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, highly organized, and able to collaborate with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience within the construction industry.
• Hands-on experience with AIA billing and construction invoicing.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong AP/AR, reconciliations and job costing.
• Experience with construction accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Foundation or Viewpoint.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and overall computer proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting support for construction projects and operations.
• Prepare and process AIA billing packages, progress billings and lien waivers.
• Generate customer invoices and ensure timely, accurate billing.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with vendors and collections follow-up.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, vendor statements, and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain job costing records and assist with tracking project budgets and expenses.
• Support payroll processing and proper labor cost allocation across projects.
• Coordinate with project managers on billing schedules and change orders.
• Assist with month-end close procedures, financial reporting and audits.
• Maintain organized accounting records and compliance documentation.
• Communicate professionally with vendors, clients, subcontractors, and teams in English and Spanish.
• Support process improvements and other administrative/financial tasks as needed.
