Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish and comfortable communicating with residents in both languages.
• Experience navigating government benefits (e.g., SNAP, TANF, LIHEAP, Medicaid) and coordinating care with local organizations.
• Boots-on-the-ground community engagement and customer-service oriented roles in housing contexts.
• Experience living in or serving Providence-area communities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage residents within affordable housing communities and build trust through on-site presence.
• Help residents apply for benefits (e.g., SNAP, TANF, LIHEAP) and coordinate care with local organizations.
• Build relationships with residents and community partners to ensure access to high-quality services.
• Document outreach, services, referrals, and interactions in the Ounce platform in a timely manner.
• Plan and host on-site programming and monthly engagement opportunities for residents.
• Attend team meetings, trainings, and check-ins and contribute as a member of the Ounce team.
