Job summary

CASA Inc. in Baltimore seeks a Community Health Worker to provide health education and navigation support for CASA members during emergencies, crises, and illness.

You will work with Health Promoters to implement culturally and linguistically proficient outreach and education, guiding members through care and enrollment. The role involves case management, barrier removal (language, transportation, documentation), and recruiting participants for health programs.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate required.
• CHW licensing or college-level coursework preferred (social/health sciences).
• Bilingual English/Spanish required; French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support outreach and education on health services in the state.
• Assist vaccination clinics and events in Maryland with Health and Emergency Social Services Manager.
• Help plan and conduct healthcare enrollment through individual appointments and clinics.
