Job summary

The position is on-site in San Juan, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a focus on accuracy in documenting payments and updating records. A Bachelor's credit background is preferred along with familiarity with MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree credits approved.
• At least 1 year of collections or customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication in Spanish and English.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Contact customers by phone to guide and secure payment of delinquent accounts.
• Identify reasons for delays and provide payment alternatives and agreements.
• Receive payments and accurately record transactions in customer accounts.
• Update financial and demographic information and document collection efforts.
• Perform skip tracing when necessary and maintain productivity metrics.
