Job summary

GreenState Credit Union in North Liberty, IA is seeking a detail-oriented Collections Specialist to analyze delinquent and overdrawn accounts. You will collaborate with members to determine causes, resolve issues, and apply payments accurately while documenting every interaction and preserving confidentiality.

In a fast-paced, member-focused environment, you will review queues daily, contact members by phone, email, or mail, and coordinate with co-makers or guarantors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years of call center experience, with two of those years in a collections role.
• Willing to work early/late shifts with short notice and strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Review daily delinquency queues and contact accounts via phone, electronic, and written correspondence.
• Confer with members to determine the reason for delinquency and arrange an appropriate resolution.
• Contact co-makers, co-borrowers and guarantors.
• Document all communications and all collection activity.
• Perform skip-tracing as required.
