Job summary

Dynamic Service Solutions seeks a Clinical Counselor (Bilingual) to provide trauma-informed mental health assessments and counseling within the Unaccompanied Minors program. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop therapeutic plans and support reunification efforts, adhering to ORR/HHS guidelines.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency and involves intake, therapy, and documentation duties, with on-site work in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctorate degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related behavioral field with clinical training.
• LCSW, LPC, LMSW, LPC-A or equivalent licensure eligibility required or pursued.
• Additional coursework in related fields is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake, admission, and diagnostic assessments per ORR/CFRC standards; document results.
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and intervention; develop and monitor treatment plans; group and individual therapy.
• Deliver psychotherapy to children; prepare discharge plans and follow-up care; provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Gather background history via interviews and assessments to tailor therapeutic approaches.
• Ensure referrals to OTIP for child trafficking concerns as appropriate.
• Arrange therapeutic interventions for crisis, including outpatient services or hospitalization when needed.
• Document all services accurately in client records and required databases per state/federal regulations.
