Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program seeks a dedicated Clinician to support emotional wellness and help youth and families achieve positive outcomes in community settings. You will conduct assessments, provide trauma-informed counseling, and collaborate with foster caregivers and partners to promote safety and reunification whenever possible.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctorate in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or related behavioral discipline.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure; must attain licensure within 3 years of employment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required to serve children and families.
• Proficient with standard software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
• Willing to work flexible/non-traditional hours with on-call nights/weekends.
• Travel up to 25%-30% to service youth and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed mental health services including assessments and referrals.
• Maintain an active clinical caseload per program ratio and meet service delivery thresholds.
• Conduct individual and group counseling; provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Facilitate family sessions.
• Travel to foster caregivers' homes as required.
• Coordinate and monitor services for youth and family in the community.
