Job summary

Family Planning Services of Lorain County is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to lead daily clinical operations and support high-quality, culturally responsive patient care. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish and brings strong clinical judgment, leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English; Spanish preferred.
• Current CMA credential.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations, workflow, staffing, and scheduling.
• Supervise, support, and mentor clinical staff.
• Coordinate patient care and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Develop, implement, and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor staff performance, productivity, documentation, and compliance.
• Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding clinical team members.
• Ensure accurate documentation and medical records management.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrative staff, and leadership.
• Respond to patient concerns and maintain a positive patient experience.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
• Support BCCP processes, laboratory logs and maintenance, and pharmacy ordering as applicable.
