Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 330-hour Medical Assistant program accredited by the NJ Department of Education.
• Certified by one of the following bodies: NHA, AMT, NCCT, AAMA, AMCA, NCMA or NAHP.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a CMA with at least one year of office experience required.
• CPR certification required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Place patients in exam rooms, obtain history and vital signs.
• Administer injections (IM, subcutaneous, intradermal) and perform CLIA-waived testing.
• Assist providers with UDS measures and health maintenance.
• Supervise medical assistant staff and train new staff.
• Maintain patient flow and confidentiality per HIPAA policy.
