Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Client Relationship Consultant in Illinois to engage customers across in-person, appointment, and virtual channels, advising on banking solutions and building strong relationships.

You will process deposits and loans, educate clients on digital tools, and collaborate with branch teams to ensure excellent service and accuracy. The role requires 3–4 years of retail banking experience and NMLS registration eligibility under SAFE Act rules.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of retail banking experience or equivalent training.
• NMLS registration eligibility and SAFE Act compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients via in-person, by appointment, and virtual channels.
• Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs and educate on deposit/loan products.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and submit credit applications.
• Promote digital products and self-service options to meet client needs.
• Collaborate with branch teammates to serve clients with accuracy and excellence.
• Provide an optimal client experience from greeting to basic transactions.
