Metropolitan Family Service seeks a Bilingual Client Facilitator - Temporary to support the TAX site in Gresham, Oregon. The role combines client intake, check-in, and flow support with Spanish-English interpretation for Spanish-speaking clients and volunteers.

Under Lead Tax Site Coordinator III, you will ensure equitable access, assist with scheduling, and guide clients through intake and tax preparation processes. Hours: 16–30 per week, Jan 2027–Apr 2027, with no employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking of both English and Spanish required.
• Excellent customer service skills and experience with diverse populations in high-stress settings.
• Skilled in de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed care.
• Strong interpersonal skills including professional interpretation techniques.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Time management, organization, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Proficient with computers, Google Suite, and scheduling/call center software.
• Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team.

Responsabilités

• Provide a welcoming environment to all clients upon arrival at the tax site.
• Perform client screening and intake to determine eligibility for MFS CASH Oregon services.
• Check-in clients, assist with appointment scheduling, and guide flow through the site.
• Offer clear Spanish-English interpretation during client interactions and for documents.
• Support volunteer tax preparers with interpretation and communication.
• Respond to general client inquiries and conduct follow-up calls.
• Refer clients to resources and distribute materials in English and Spanish.
• Assist with data entry and maintain client confidentiality; help maintain orderly site.
