Job summary

Williamsburg Animal Clinic in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a warm, personable Client Service Representative to join our team. This part-time role offers potential to transition to full-time by year-end, with an anticipated schedule of about 4-5 days per week including alternating Saturdays.

You will greet clients, schedule services, handle payments, and support a collaborative veterinary team. We highly value bilingual English/Spanish communication to serve our diverse client base, along with empathy

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Previous veterinary hospital experience is strong preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy veterinary environment with frequent interruptions.
• Empathy and patience when working with clients who may be worried or stressed about their pets.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and schedule appointments and procedures.
• Answer incoming phone calls and emails, address client questions, and provide information regarding hospital services and policies.
• Efficiently manage client check-ins, verify patient and client information, update records, and obtain necessary paperwork.
• Process payments accurately and provide clients with detailed invoices and receipts.
• Coordinate a smooth check-out process, including scheduling follow-up appointments and communicating appropriate next steps.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, including patient files and appointment information.
• Provide clients with basic information regarding preventive care, vaccinations, medications, and hospital services.
• Work closely with veterinarians and staff to support efficient patient flow and client service.
