Job summary

Josselyn in Grayslake, IL is seeking a part-time Client Access Specialist to be the first point of contact for clients. You will check in clients, assist with onboarding, and ensure secure handling of PHI in the EMR system, while maintaining a welcoming, professional environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-4 years of relevant experience may be considered instead of education.
  • Experience in a patient-facing, receptionist, or customer service role, ideally in a healthcare setting, preferred.
  • Experience supporting front-desk operations, including check-in, telephone management, documentation, and payment processing.
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Presents a consistently professional appearance, demeanor, and behavior that supports a welcoming, respectful patient experience that aligns with Josselyn standards.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in clients and visitors; follow front desk procedures.
  • Assist with onboarding, maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant records.
  • Support billing: co-payments and invoices in a courteous manner.
  • Answer and route calls; meet responsiveness and accuracy metrics.
  • Scan, upload, and maintain onboarding docs in the EMR system.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming waiting area; ensure sanitation of workstations.
  • Collaborate with clinical, billing, and admin teams for coordinated care.
  • Process mail; complete assigned projects and tasks on time.
