FRANZ ELEMENTARY in Katy, Texas is seeking a bilingual Aide (English/Spanish) to support teachers in classrooms and assist English learners across the campus. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with a 187-day calendar and pay grade IS03.

Primary duties include aiding bilingual instruction, testing, data entry, and maintaining confidential student records. Qualified candidates must be bilingual, have college hours for Title I campus or a Parapro test score, and obtain a paraprofessional

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish, spoken and written.
• College hours 48 for Title I campus or Parapro test score 464.
• High school diploma or GED for Non-Title I campus.
• Paraprofessional aide certificate required after employment.

Responsabilités

• Assist bilingual teachers in the classroom as needed.
• Provide tutorial assistance to bilingual students as needed.
• Administer oral and written tests to English learners, including EL Testing Center rotation.
• Check and update bilingual student cumulative folders for accurate documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of students and administration.
• Assist bilingual teachers to complete and organize legal/mandated documentation for student placement.
• Input English learner PEIMS data upon request.
• Other duties as assigned.
