Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with instruction, preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Assist teachers in guiding individual students or groups in daily activities and instructional exercises.
• Reinforce appropriate behavior per the teacher's plans and assist in classroom discipline.
• Maintain administrative records and prepare required reports.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Organize, clean, disinfect and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Participate in in-service training, faculty meetings, and special events.
• Maintain punctuality and meet task completion deadlines.
