Job summary

Bethany Christian Services seeks a Medical Coordinator to arrange and coordinate health services for children in care, including urgent and preventive care. You will maintain confidential medical records, communicate health needs to case managers, and liaise with providers and insurers to ensure smooth care delivery.

Qualified candidates typically have 1 year in public health or healthcare, a licensed practical or bachelor’s level health credential, and strong Spanish/English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in public health or healthcare with care coordination or health admin experience.
• Bilingual Spanish/English fluency preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate health services for children in care, including urgent, emergent, and preventive care.
• Schedule appointments and arrange transportation to care facilities.
• Maintain medical records and ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Serve as liaison with insurance providers and clinicians.
• Travel to health facilities as needed to build relationships.
