Bethany Christian Services USA LLC invites applications for Lead Medical Coordinator - Bilingual (English/Spanish). This role supervises Medical Coordinators, develops health policy, and coordinates pediatric and migrant health services nationwide from the Indianapolis area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in public health or healthcare setting with care coordination or direct clinical care.
• Licensed Registered Nurse with a bachelor’s degree, OR higher health-related qualification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide excellent and compassionate customer service.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Must pass required medical examinations and have ability to perform essential job functions including physical restraints.
• Proof of immunity to vaccines and TB tests as required by state licensing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise other Medical Coordinators and provide training on medical topics relevant to pediatric, adolescent, and migrant health.
• Develop and maintain policies for confidential health record management and health care coordination.
• Schedule and transport youth to medical appointments within allotted timeframe.
• Maintain medical files in Program Portal and ensure records are updated.
• Coordinate treatment authorization requests and liaise with insurance providers.
• Serve as subject matter expert on insurance products related to refugee health.
• Provide reports upon discharge and ensure filing compliance with agency/state requirements.
