Bethany Christian Services seeks an experienced Medical Coordinator in Reading, PA. This role supports health services for children in care, maintains confidential medical records, coordinates appointments and transportation, and ensures compliance with state licensing and agency standards.

Competenze

• 1+ year in public health or healthcare with care coordination or health administration experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate customer service.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of confidentiality.
• Must be reliable with time-sensitive deadlines and tasks.
• Must pass background checks and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Mansioni

• Arrange and coordinate health services for children in care, maintain confidential medical records, and communicate health needs to case managers and clinicians.
• Schedule health care appointments and arrange transportation to appointments.
• Ensure interpretation and translation services are in place and act as liaison with community health providers.
• Maintain medical files in Program Portal and keep records updated.
• Prepare treatment authorization requests and liaise with insurance providers as needed.
• Provide resources and reports upon discharge and ensure documentation compliance with licensing requirements.
• Stay abreast of agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements in social services.
• Travel periodically to health care facilities to build relationships and support clients.
