Job summary

Bethany Christian Services is seeking a Casework Support Specialist to assist with paperwork, provide case management services, and help ensure the safety of children in care. You will coordinate with case managers, schools, and healthcare providers to support families across the program.

The role emphasizes strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion, in alignment with our faith-based mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Broad knowledge of human services principles and practices.
• Bi-lingual English and a second language preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist Case Managers with essential paperwork and documentation.
• Provide case management services including social work, counseling and referrals.
• Ensure the child's safety while in care.
• Attend and be prepared for all court hearings on assigned cases.
• Maintain collateral contact with schools and receive case updates.
• Assist with scheduling and follow-up of medical and dental appointments.
