Job summary

Compass Connections, located in Raymondville, TX, seeks compassionate professionals to provide crisis intervention, case management, and support for children in shelter and foster care.

The role requires a Bachelor's in behavioral sciences or related field, Fluency in English and Spanish, and 1 year of related experience; travel within the region may be required. We offer comprehensive first‑day benefits and a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 1pm to 10pm.

Qualifications

• Required - Bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences, human services, or social services field.
• Preferred - Graduate degree from accredited program/university in a related field.
• Certifications: First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention.
• Required - 1-year related experience and/or training including crisis intervention.
• Preferred - Experience with child welfare, case management, and immigrant populations.

Responsibilities

• Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to this position.
• Maintain a caseload in accordance with agency policies and licensing and contract standards.
• Participate in workshops, seminars, and other activities for professional growth.
• Maintain a minimum number of weekly contacts with children and families.
• Provide feedback and support to crisis line staff for appropriate crisis response.
• Document progress toward risk reduction and service goals.
• Coordinate referrals, service planning, and documentation for assigned caseload.
• Foster care program support and recruitment of foster parents.
• Travel between locations within the office as needed.
