Job summary

55 Compass Connections in Raymondville, Texas, seeks compassionate team members for our facility, providing emergency shelter and group home placement for children to reunite families and support community thriving. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with a Tuesday–Saturday 1pm–10pm work schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral sciences, human services, or social services field.
• Graduate degree from an accredited program/university in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to this position.
• Maintain a case load in accordance with agency policies, licensing and contract standards.
• Participate in workshops, seminars, and education programs for professional growth.
• Maintain a minimum number of weekly contacts with children and families.
• Continually assess changes in behavior or conditions affecting child safety.
• Provide feedback and support to crisis line staff for appropriate crisis response.
• Engage and involve children and sponsors in the casework process.
• Document progress toward risk reduction and service goals.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, files, statistics, and information per policy.
• Participate in weekly case staffing with team in the assigned region.
• Work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Implement safety protocols including evacuation procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality in all service population areas.
