Job summary

Compass Connections seeks compassionate, qualified clinicians for its Cameron facility in Los Fresnos, TX. The role involves clinical supervision, counseling, crisis management, and coordination with staff to support reunification efforts.

Required credentials include an MSW or related advanced degree with clinical post-degree experience; bilingual in English and Spanish is required. On-site work with some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work with two years postgraduate direct service delivery experience OR a master’s degree or Ph.D. in psychology, sociology, or other behavioral science with two years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus five years clinical employment experience in the behavioral sciences.
• Certifications: First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention.

Responsibilities

• Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to this position.
• Maintain on-call schedule for the support of children and staff.
• Actively engage in a quality assurance plan necessary for compliance.
• Provide opportunities for routine consultation and supervision for clinicians.
• Provide counseling, crisis management, evaluations and other clinical functions as needed.
• Record relevant clinical data and report clinical information as required.
• Maintain accurate and current child records and files.
• Assist in discharge planning.
