Job summary

Cavender’s in Hoover, AL is seeking a Bilingual Cashier who delivers Best of the WEST customer service by greeting customers, processing transactions, and assisting with finding solutions in both English and Spanish.

You will maintain a clean, organized sales floor, stock merchandise, support store operations, handle POS transactions, and follow company policies while providing friendly, accurate service.

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Accurately operate POS and handle cash/electronic transactions.
• Safely lift and move merchandise during shift.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver Best of the WEST service.
• Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and other POS transactions.
• Ensure merchandise accuracy and stock displays.
• Promote store programs and suggest related merchandise.
• Maintain clean, organized sales floor and perform housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain safety and report concerns to store management.
• Assist with merchandising updates and price changes.
• Other duties as assigned.
